Silence and mystery...
In Stor-Graddis you can experience the silence and mystery of an old pine forest. At Stor-Graddisvatnet you can fish and make a fire with a breathtaking view of Solvågtinden.
Rememeber to take care of the pine forest and don't use it for firewood! It is only permitted to make fires at the marked fire places on Stor-graddisvatnet with wood that you have brought with you or that is laid out for such purpose.
About the nature reserve:
The purpose of the conservation is to preserve a varied and special pine forest with its natural flora and fauna and with all the natural ecological processes. Of special qualities, it can be mentioned that the area:
- has botanical interests linked to calcareous soil,
- has an old and large-grown pine forest, and a considerable amount of dry heather and heather.
